Unlike several cosmopolitan cockroach lineages, Doleschalliaini is not principally composed of household pests. Its members are predominantly wild insects occupying native terrestrial ecosystems. Their limited dispersal ability, particularly in wingless species, can contribute to geographically restricted populations and localized evolutionary diversification.
