Basic colouration light to pale salmon colour with dark scale edges. Rear dorsal, anal and coudal fins with black edge and tips.
Size : 32 cm
Habitat : Prefers coral-rich outreefs, 3-25 m. During the day, inactive below overhangs or in caves alone or in loose groups.
Distribution : East Africa to SW Japan, Micronesia, Line Islands, New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
