Cantherhines pardalis

Greenish-brown to blueish-yellow, always with honeycomb net pattern. Usually with white spot on the tail root.

Size : 25 cm

Habitat : In clear, coral-rich lagoons and outer reef slopes, also in seagrass field, 2-25 m. Loner, relatively shy.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to S Japan and Ducie Islands.
