Pink Demoiselle

Chrysiptera rex

Whitish beige to pale yellowish. Very small dark ear mark.

Size : 7-8 cm

Habitat : Prefers outer reefs and reef channels, 1-6 m. A relatively inconspicuous demoiselle, to be seen alone or in small groups. Feeds predominantly on algae.

Distribution : Indonesia (Bali) and the Philippines to SW Japan, Palau, New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
