Description

Streptopelia bitorquata is medium in size (30 cm). Long tail. The body is reddish brown in color. Similar to ordinary Tekukur. The difference between regular turtles and Javanese dederuk is that the color of the head is more gray. Black spots on the sides of the neck with white edges. No white spots. Orange iris, black beak with red base, purplish red legs.
