TP without, IP with eye spots at the back on the dorsal and anal fins.

Size : 18 cm

Habitat : In lagoons, bays and out reefs, 2-30 m. Usually in areas with mixed coral, rubble and sand surfaces. Feeds on small bottom-dwelling invertebrates.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan, Micronesia and French Polynesia.
