Batu Coris

Coris batuensis

TP: Upper body half with short dark vertical bands. Small black shoulder spot. An eyespot in the middle of the dorsal fin. IP with three eye spots on the dorsal fin and red spots on the head.

Size : 18 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and out reefs, 1-20 m. Loner, usually just above sand and rubble.

Distribution : East Africa to S Japan, Micronesia and Tonga.
