Narrow-banded Spanish Mackerel

Scomberomorus commerson

Silvery with slightly wavy vertical stripes along the side.

Size : 245 cm

Habitat : Pelagic lifestyle, 1-200 m. Migrates over longer distances thereby occasionally crossing near reefs. Feeds predominantly on sardines, anchovies and fusiliers.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan, Palau, SE Australia and Fiji.
