3-4 white patches on the back; narrow tail stalk.
Size : 60 cm
Habitat : Prefers mud and sandy grounds, 5-120 m. Adults occasionally also keep in vicinity of reef.
Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to S Japan, Palau, New Caledonia and Fiji.
