Rows of white scale dots, only the males with yellow edge fringe on the tail, anal and dorsal fin as will as a blue spot above chin and throat.
Size : 22 cm
Habitat : Prefers outer reef slopes, 15-150 m. Frequently swims in loose groups some metres above the reef and hunts zooplankton in open water.
Distribution : Mauritius to SW Japan, Micronesia, Hawaii and French Polynesia.
