Pearly Monocle Bream

Scolopsis margaritifera

Back with dark-edged scales. Half of lower side with rows of yellow dots.

Size : 25 cm

Habitat : Inhabits sand and rubble beds of lagoons and coastal reefs, 2-25 m. Feeds on invertebrates bottom-dwellers, such as bristle-worms, mollusks, also small fish.

Distribution : Sumatra to Taiwan, Palau, Vanuatu and North Australia.
