Bridled Monocle Bream

Scolopsis bilineata

Adult: White, curved band from the snout to the rear back.
Juvenile: Upper body half striped black-yellow.

Size : 25 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and protected out reefs, at sand and rubble ground of the reef, 1-25 m. Feeds on small invertebrates and fish.

Distribution : Laccadive Islands and the Maldives to SW Japan, West Micronesia, New Caledonia and Fiji.
