Silver Bullseye

Pempheris schwenkii

Front edge of the dorsal fin is dark. Body is silvery to copper color. Especially with the latter colouration, it is difficult to distinguish from several very similar species, with which it is additionally often associated.

Size : 15 cm

Habitat : In rock and coral reefs, lagoons and out reefs, 1-40 m. During the day in groups in protected areas.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to Indonesia, Fiji and GBR.
