Pempheris oualensis

Front edge and tip of the dorsal fin is black. Base of the pectoral fins with black spot.

Size : 22 cm

Habitat : In clear lagoons and at out reefs, 2-35m. In schools at protected places such as overhangs and caves during the day. Disperses for nocturnal search for food in the form of plankton and small bottom-dwelling animals.

Distribution : Red Sea to SW Japan, Micronesia and French Polynesia.
