Acanthurus leucocheilus

White tail blade. Pale band at the chin. Whitish mouth. Black shoulder spot. Basic colouration often dark brown to blackish, can rapidly become significantly brighter.

Size : 45 cm

Habitat : At clear outreefs, often in the vicinity of steep drops, 4-30 m. Alone or in small groups.

Distribution : East Africa, the Maldives, Seychelles to Andaman Sea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Palau and Line Islands.
