Pacific Orange-spine Unicornfish

Naso lituratus

Dorsal fin black with broad whitish edge fringe.

Size : 45 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and outreefs, 1-90 m. Swims alone or sometimes in larger groups, usually above 30 m. Grazes predominantly on leafy brown algae on dead coral or rock grounds.

Distribution : Gulf of Thailand to SW Japan, Hawaii, French Polynesia and Pitcairn.
