Yellowlined Snapper

Lutjanus rufolineatus

Usually with a reddish shimmer, especially at the front of its body and snout. Often with black spot at the upper rear dorsal area.

Size : 25 cm

Habitat : At outer reef slopes, 6-50 m. Usually in groups, somewhat higher above the seabed.

Distribution : The Maldives to SW Japan, N Australia, Samoa and Tonga.
