Latticed Sandperch

Parapercis clathrata

A row of pale brown to orange-brown patches along the lower side of the body. Always with a blackish centre. Male with eye-spot on either side of the neck.

Size : 18 cm

Habitat : On sand and rubble of lagoons and outreefs, 3-50 m.

Distribution : Andaman Sea to SW Japan, Micronesia, Phoenix Islands, Samoa and GBR.
