About five reddish-brown, irregular saddle spots. Back edge of the caudal fin is dark. First dorsal fin is black. Yellow spot at pectoral fin base.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : Inhabits sand and rubble grounds near the reef, 5-35 m.

Distribution : Andaman Sea to S Japan, PNG and GBR.
