Masked Rabbitfish

Siganus puellus

Yellow with wavy blue lines and spots. Dark horizontal band from the chin to the eye, grey with black patches above this.

Size : 30 cm

Habitat : Inhabits coral-rich reefs, 2-25 m. Usually in pairs, feeds on sea squirts and sponges.

Distribution : Cocos Keeling to SW Japan, Micronesia and Gilbert Island, GBR, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
