Two dark diagonal bands on the head, one of these through the eye. Upper body with blue spots. Similar to S. doliatus with fine yellow traverse lines.
Size : 30 cm
Habitat : In rock and coral reefs, 2-20 m. Swims in pairs or in small groups.
Distribution : India to the Philippines, SW Japan, North Australia and Papua.
