Yellow-eyed Puffer

Arothron immaculatus

Whitish, light brown or grey, depending on environment. Skin with small, slightly raised nodules. Caudal fin with dark seam. Iris is luminous yellow.

Size : 30 cm

Habitat : On seagrass fields, sandy and muddy areas, in estuaries and mangrove regions, 2-30 m.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
