Primary colour beige to light brown or grey-green, dark horizontal stripes.

Habitat : In lagoons, bays and protected outreefs, 1-20 m. Inhabits seagrass fields and sandy areas near reef.
Distribution : Borneo and Bali to the Philippines, SW Japan, Micronesia, Samoa and East Australia.
