Yellowbanded Pipefish

Dunckerocampus pessuliferus

Alternate red and orange-yellow bands. Red caudal find with white upper edge and yellow spot.

Size : 16 cm

Habitat : Inhabits coastal reefs, 10-35 m. Usually in protected areas of small coral heads on soft ground. Alone or in pairs.

Distribution : Bali to NW Australia, the Philippines and Sulawesi.
