Terminal-Phase: Green marking around the snout, with horizontal runners to rear of eyes. IP: with multi-coloured iridescent side-bands, additionally sometimes with a white spot.

Size : 40 cm

Habitat : Lives in clear lagoons and outer reefs, 3-30 m.

Distribution : Cocos Keeling to Indonesia to SW Japan, Micronesia, GBR and French Polynesia
