Yellowmargin Moray

Gymnothorax flavimarginatus

Speckled yellowish-brown, snout rust brown, amber eyes.

Size : 120 cm

Habitat : In lagoons, coral and rock reefs, 0.3-150 m. Frequently looks out of its burrow. Captures small fish and crustaceans. Change sex from female to male.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan, Hawaii, Panama and New Caledonia.
