Size : 60 cm

Habitat : In coastal reefs and lagoons, 1-15 m. Hidden in crevices during the day. Hunts shrimps and crabs at night, then often also easily observed on sandy surfaces. Verifies prey before biting.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan, Hawaii, GBR and French Polynesia.
