Oriental Sweetlips

Plectorhinchus vittatus

Dark horizontal stripes, fin yellow. Back, anal and caudal fin with dark patches.

Size : 75 cm

Habitat : Prefers clear, coral-rich lagoons and out reefs, 2-25 m. Alone, they also often rest in groups at reef protrusions and large coral heads.

Distribution : East Africa to SW Japan, Mariana Islands and Caroline Islands in Micronesia, Australia and Samoa.
