Oblique-banded Sweetlips

Plectorhinchus lineatus

Back with diagonal black stripes. Lips and fin yellow, back and caudal fin with black patches.

Size : 50 cm

Habitat : Inhabits coral-rich regions of lagoons and out reefs, 2-35 m. Alone or in small groups. Goes alone at night isn search of food.

Distribution : Indonesia roughly from Bali to SW Japan, the Philippines, Guam, GBR and New Caledonia.
