Black tail and anal fin. Back edge of the caudal fin is rounded (convex).

Size : 60 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and out reefs, 4-65 m. Usually in or near its shelter.

Distribution : East Africa and Arabian Gulf to SW Japan, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Tonga and East Australia.
