Epinephelus fuscoguttatus

Brow slightly deformed (concave). Small black saddle spot on the tail stalk.

Size : 90 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and out reefs, 3-60 m. Shy loner, difficult to approach. Uncommon in the majority of regions. Feeds on fish, cuttlefish and crustaceans.

Distribution : Red Sea, East Africa Southern to Mauritius, SW Japan, Samoa and New Caledonia.
