Nakedhead Shrimpgoby

Amblyeleotris gymnocephala

Whitish with 5 brown stripes and brown markings in their interstices. Often with a dark line from the back edge of eye to the first vertical stripe.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : Inhabits sandy as well as rubble areas in lagoons and outer reef slopes, 3-35 m. In burrow along with partner shrimp Alpheus ochrostruatus.

Distribution : NW Australia and Eastern Indonesia to the Philippines and Marshall Islands.
