Stonogobiops nematodes

Yellow face. Four dark bands, the anterior three diagonal. First dorsal fin with long, black filaments.

Size : 6 cm

Habitat : On sand slopes in lagoons and outreefs, 5-40 m. Usually in pairs. Always close to the entrance of the burrow, which is shared with the snapping shrimp Alpheus randalli.

Distribution : Andaman Sea, Indonesia to the Philippines, Palau, E Australia and Samoa.
