Yellow tail. The yellow covers about the rear two-third of the back. Remaining body is blue.

Size : 35 cm

Habitat : Along steep outer reef slopes and patch reefs, 5-35 m. In open water in groups for feeding on plankton.

Distribution : East Africa to SW Japan, Micronesia, Line Islands, GBR and Samoa.
