Light grey-brown with darker vertical stripes, often with several light, diffuse patches. Tail is black with yellow patches and often with a blue edge.

Habitat : Inhabits sand and mud grounds of protected coasts, bays and estuaries, 5-25 m. Probably active at night.
Distribution : Indonesia to the Philippines, China and Korea.
