Paramonacanthus choirocephalus

Variable in colour, usually with dark spot beneath the second dorsal fin.

Size : 12 cm

Habitat : In protected outereefs, above sandy ground and above seagrass fields, to about 20 m. Alone or in small groups.

Distribution : From India, Thailand and Malaysia to Indonesia, the Philippines, PNG and Vanuatu.
