Snubnose Emperor Bream

Lethrinus borbonicus

Continuously silvery-green.

Size : 40 cm

Habitat : Often above small sand surfaces in lagoons and protected out reefs, 1-40 m. Not shy. Feeds on hard-shelled invertebrates which it seeks at night in the reef at low depth.

Distribution : Red Sea and Arabian Gulf to Mozambique and Mauritius.
