Pacific Starry Dragonet

Synchiropus moyeri

Adults whitish with irregular red jagged patches. Female with transparent yellowish pectoral and ventral fins. In the male, the first dorsal fin is enlarged like a flag.
Juveniles with red bands around the eye and large white patches on the body.

Size : 7 cm

Habitat : On algae-covered rock and rubble ground, 5-30 m. Alone or in small groups.

Distribution : Indonesia to SW Japan, Palau, Solomons and GBR.
