Pseudochromis flavivertex

Male blue, broad, yellow back stripe extends to the chin. Female yellowish.

Size : 7 cm

Habitat : Usually at the foot of patch and fringe reefs, above sand and rubble, 2-30 m. Has a regular place in a small territory. The female lives more in hiding, and is even more shy than the male and can therefore only very rarely be observed.

Distribution : Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
