Yellow-side Damselfish

Amblyglyphidodon flavilatus

Grey front, pale yellow rear.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : Inhabits protected outer and patch reefs with rich coral stock, 3-20 m. Swims alone or in small loose groups, often also along with the Maldives Damselfish, a short distance above the reef in open water in order to feed on zooplankton.

Distribution : Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
