Yellow-edge Chromis

Chromis pembae

Brown with white or yellowish tail. Dorsal and anal fin predominantly black.

Size : 13 cm

Habitat : In rock and coral reefs, 3-50 m. Prefers steep reef slopes, where in small groups it feeds on zooplankton just above the seabed in the open water. Not shy.

Distribution : Red Sea, Oman and East Africa to Seychelles and Chagos Islands.
