Regal Demoiselle

Neopomacentrus cyanomos

Dark brown, back edge of tail, dorsal and anal fins yellow. Luminous yellow to white spot at rear base of the dorsal fin.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : Prefers protected coastal reefs and bays, 5-20 m. Usually in small groups not far from coral formations. Feeds on zooplankton in the water.

Distribution : Red Sea, Oman and East Africa to SW Japan, Solomons, Vanuatu and GBR.
