Indo-Pacific Yellowtail Damsel

Neoglyphidodon nigroris

Adults with dark stripes on gill lid and pale-dark stripes under the eye. Rear of body and tail yellow. Juveniles yellow with two black stripes.

Size : 11-13 cm

Habitat : In coral-rich lagoons and outreefs slopes, 2-25 m. Feeds on zooplankton and algae.

Distribution : Andaman Sea to SW Japan, Palau, Vanuatu and GBR.
