Green Damselfish

Amblyglyphidodon indicus

Back blue greenish, flowing transition to white on underside.

Size : 13 cm

Habitat : Clear, coral-rich lagoons and protected outreefs, 2-35 m. Common and not shy. Swims alone or in small groups just above the reef and snaps at zooplankton and drifting organic matter.

Distribution : Red Sea to Madagascar, Chagos Islands and Andaman Sea.
