Chromis viridis

Metallic blue-green.

Size : 9 cm

Habitat : Prefers coral-rich coastal reefs and bays, 1-15 m. Usually in groups above branched coral (Acropora). When disturbed, instantly flees between the coral branches.

Distribution : Red Sea and East Africa to SW Japan and French Polynesia.
