Juvenile with white horizontal stripes.
Size : 34 cm
Habitat : In front of reef crevices and overhangs, 3-25 m. Usually only seen in groups of juveniles to about 5 cm length. Thense imitate the Striped Eel Catfish. Adults are hidden away and differently colored.
Distribution : East Indonesia to the Philippines, Solomons and New Caledonia.
