Toothy Cardinalfish

Cheilodipterus isostigma

Five black horizontal stripes. Yellow tail base. The black dot is exactly the same height as the central vertical stripe.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and protected out reefs, 3-40 m. Close to protection such as in front of caves, crevices and coral branches. Usually in groups.

Distribution : Borneo and South China Sea to the Philippines, Marshall Island, Solomons and Vanuatu.
