Orbicular Cardinalfish

Sphaeramia orbicularis

Silver light grey. Narrow dark vertical stripe. Dark dots on the body rear.

Size : 10 cm

Habitat : Inhabits protected bays and coastal reefs, 0.5-5 m. Close to shore in congregations at mangroves, rock civilization waste and at wharves.

Distribution : East Africa to SW Japan, the Mariana Island and Kirabati, south to New Caledonia.
