Orange-yellow with silvery light grey horizontal stripes. The lowest is very short and extends only to or shortly behind the back edge of the gill lid.

Size : 8 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and out reefs, 2-20 m.

Distribution : Andaman Sea to PNG and E Australia and New Caledonia.
