Ostorhinchus compressus

Dotted back line. A bright side stripe beginning above the eye is cut short beneath the forward edge of the first dorsal fin. Blue, usually incomplete eye-ring.

Size : 12 cm

Habitat : In lagoons and protected out reefs. Usually in shoals in front of cavities or branch coral.

Distribution : Malaysia to SW Japan, GBR and Solomons.
